Questions are formed:<br>

when the main verb is not <i>be</i>, by putting an auxiliary verb before the subject:

<p class="exemple">When did you graduate from university?</p>
<p class="exemple">Which university did you graduate from?</p>
<p class="exemple">Are you prepared to travel?</p>

when the main verb is <i>be</i>, by putting the main verb before the subject:<br>

<p class="exemple">Is your present job challenging?</p>

<h3 class="titre">Indirect questions</h3>
The <i>word order</i> of questions changes when you put a short phrase before them :

<p>
<span class="exemple">How long have you studied English?</span> --- <span class="exemple">
<b>Can you tell me</b> how long you have studied English.</span></p>


<p><span class="exemple">When did you graduate from university?</span> ---
<span class="exemple"><b>I'd like you to tell me</b> when you graduated from university.

<p><span class="exemple">Which university did you graduate from?</span>
